I offer straightforward therapy. No “psychobabble”, only clarity and understanding. I have gained a great deal of my experience from working for several years under an NHS contract, seeing GP referrals and in being in Private Practice. I have my own life experiences that have helped me to be the person and therapist I am today, enabling me to empathize how life can be difficult and asking for help very hard.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing) with EMDRWORKS accredited by EMDR Europe Association. This technique is approved by NICE as an effective treatment for PTSD and Complex Trauma. This therapy has revolutionized my practice enabling clients to recover from Traumatic events and experiences. I incorporate this technique when required with the usual talking therapy.

I am experienced in working with Loss and Bereavement having trained with the Charity Cruse Bereavement. I have worked with Sexual abuse Survivors, having trained with a charity for Sexual Abuse. I have worked with the Military, Police, Prison Service and Paramedics.

My belief is that everyone can be helped through therapy, whatever age,or stage of life, and the solution is to take the first step towards getting the help.

I am a Qualified Couples Counsellor having trained in Couples Counselling at CCPE in London.

I also provide Supervision for Trained Integrative Counsellors and Trainee Counsellors.
